Play and Social Skills

Social skills are the play and interaction skills that are the basis for forming positive relationships with others. They are essential skills for your child to create and maintain meaningful friendships throughout their life, as well as understand the world around them.
Some children find it difficult to make and maintain friendships while others are unsure how to interpret subtle social cues and nuances.
WA Speech is able to support your child to develop their play and social skills in a neurodiversity affirming manner. We will support your child to advocate for themselves and understand their social preferences.
