Neurodiversity affirming practice

WA Speech pride itself on being neurodiversity affirming across all our services. We want to help children embrace their difference and develop self-advocacy skills which will support them lifelong. There are so many ways which we communicate, just because one person communicates differently does not make it wrong.
We want to instil in children that the way their minds work is simply different and doesn’t need changing. We want to see young neurodiverse people thriving.
